The former Agere Systems Inc. site, one of the last and largest remaining contiguous pieces of infill property in Orange County, now officially belongs to C.T. Hsu Group and the Tavistock Group. C.T. Hsu Group and Tavistock bought the 206-acre industrial/commercial complex on John Young Parkway for $50 million. .

But what three accounting professors from the Stanford Graduate School of Business recently discovered was that, despite its widespread acceptance, the economic meaning of the ROI metric has only been vaguely understood. Pricing Posted for 2008 Scion xB
Toyota's Scion unit announced manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) for the all-new 2008 xB. According to a company news release, xB models with a manual transmission will have an MSRP of $15,650, an increase of $1,620 or 11.5 percent. The MSRP for automatic transmission models will be $16,600, an increase of $1,770 or 11.9 percent. The new xB will reach Scion dealers in early May. The all-new xB is powered by a 2.4-liter dual-overhead-cam four-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) which produces 158 horsepower, 55 more than the previous generation. The xB features either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic with sequential shifting, a first for automatic four-speeds in the Scion line-up. Riding on an all-new chassis, this xB is now a foot longer and almost three inches wider than its predecessor.
